✨A soft space to land.
A practice to nourish your whole being...✨
Yoga for Wāhine is a gentle, soul centred course created especially for women.
Come home to your body, calm your mind, and reconnect with your inner wisdom.
This next round of Yoga for Wāhine has been designed as a sanctuary for women in midlife and beyond.
Each week, we gather in a supportive space where you can :
✨Move gently to release tension in the body
✨Breathe fully to calm the nervous system
✨Relax deeply, giving yourself permission to slow down
✨Connect with other wāhine on the same path
Each small, friendly session offers a safe haven, an online sanctuary, so that you can release, renew and restore your body, mind and wairua ~ spirit.
This is not about pushing, striving, or "keeping up."
It's about creating a practice that meets you where you are.
"He wahi haumaru, he wahi aroha."
A safe space, a loving space.

Linsey Smith
Founder & Lead Teacher — Aroha Nui Yoga
I am of Ngāti Whakaue, Ngāti Rangiwewehi, Ngāti Pikiao, Ngāti Makino, Ngāti Whātua – Te Uri o Hau descent, and Scottish, English and Irish heritage. I guide wāhine and communities through inclusive, trauma-informed yoga that nurtures the tinana, hinengaro and wairua.
With over 2 decades experience, I offer online and in-person classes, retreats and wānanga grounded in gentle movement, guided relaxation, and holistic healing.
My teaching weaves Te Reo Māori, Atua Wāhine inspiration, and nervous system–aware practices to uplift mauri and restore balance.
I hold advanced certifications in Hatha, Restorative, Trauma Recovery and Therapeutic Yoga, Yoga Nidra, Pre-Natal Yoga, and I continue to train in nervous system–informed approaches to wellbeing.
Whether you’re new to yoga or returning home to your body, I offer a calm, aroha-infused space to restore, regulate and reconnect.
Testimonial
"I’ve been so impressed by how incredibly good Linsey is at delivering online classes.
I receive all the physical, emotional, mental & spiritual benefits, without leaving the house, and I’m so grateful…
Having the recordings available is so helpful if there’s a clash between commitments and I can't make it to the Live session.
In all the uncertainty & change we’re going through, knowing I can still access my yoga practice is a little anchor of stability: 'he toka tū moana, a rock standing firm in the sea.'"

Testimonials -
"After a session both my mind and body are very relaxed.
In the evening the sessions help me to unwind and rest, I love lying on my mat, under a blanket, feeling safe, warm and nurtured by your soothing voice.
It helps me to go into relax/ sleep mode at night, but time out during the day is also divine!
From a mental perspective I feel that the meditation has enhanced my focus.
I like how you bring a 'sankalpa' or resolve, into the session, to confirm a change I would like to manifest in my life, this has helped to carry me forward in everyday life.
I value the teachings so much! And I'm so glad I can attend classes from home!"
- K.R
"I would highly recommend this programme to anyone wanting to practice yoga at home, in a way they can adapt to their busy life.
I really benefit from the sense of calm, relaxation and breath awareness and gently stretched muscles and joint movements, and I always have a much better sleep after doing a session. "
